Frequently asked questions (from real downloaders)
Most Keep2Share problems come from free account limits: slow speed, waiting timers, captcha, and no proper resume support.

Yes. I use it daily. Add your premium account in JD2 → no more captchas, full resume.
Why is free so slow?
Intentional throttling. Free users get lowest server priority. That’s how they push premium.

What happens after premium expires?
You go back to free. Files are kept for 30 days (free retention). Premium files stay 90 days during subscription.
What payment method should I use?
Credit card works fine. Crypto also accepted. I used Visa – no issues.
Does speed depend on location?
Yes. From Japan I got slightly lower speeds than from EU. But premium was always much faster than free.
Is Keep2Share safe?
I haven’t had issues. They scan files. But as always, be careful with unknown .exe files.
My simple take:
Free is fine for occasional small files. For large archives or regular downloading, I eventually switched to Pro because the waiting timers got old fast.
